(MENAFN – Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ABU DHABI, July 27 (KUNA) — Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, held talks on Saturday with the visiting Jordanian king Abdullah II on regional and international affairs of common concern, the UAE news agency WAM said.
Sheikh Mohammad, during the meeting with the monarch, affirmed resolve for cementing further the already solid ties with Amman in various sectors.
The UAE, he has said, is keen always keen on strengthening its brotherly ties with Jordan for serving mutual interests and joint Arab action, particularly in shadow of regional challenges and their dangerous ramifications — naming these challenges as terrorism extremism and external intervention in regional countries’ domestic affairs.
For his part, King Abdullah expressed satisfaction for visiting the UAE, affirming his seriousness as to deepening the brotherly relations with the Gulf country.
Moreover, the two sides jointly asserted necessity of coordination regarding the regional conditions and challenges. (end)
