Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao-starrer Judgemental Hai Kya opened to impressive box office collection. The film received rave reviews from critics and going by the box office collection, it is equally being liked by the audience.

Directed by Prakash Kovelamudi, Judgementall Hai Kya is a psychological thriller- black comedy. The film earned Rs 5.40 crore on its first day and made 8.02 crore on its second day. It is estimated to collect Rs 8 to 10 crore on Sunday.

The first day collection of Judgementall Hai Kya is better than Rajkummar Rao’s last release Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, which had earned Rs 2.86 crore, but worse than Kangana’s previous movie Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi that clocked Rs 8.75 crore on its Day 1.

Judgementall Hai Kya is a dark comedy that revolves around two people, Bobby (Kangana) and Keshav (Rajkummar). While Bobby is a voice-over artist suffering from acute psychosis, a mental disorder, Keshav is the new tenant she gets attracted to. But Keshav is a married to Rima (Amyra Dastur), who is murdered, and Bobby is convinced that Keshav is behind it. Is that so, or whether it’s her imagination, that’s for the viewers to find out.

India Today reviewer Charu Thakur gave the film 3.5 stars out of 5 and wrote, “Judgementall Hai Kya plays with the mind, and that’s its USP. Kovelamudi’s narrative is quirky, trippy, crisp and keeps you on the edge throughout. It’s not your usual whodunnit thriller because Judgementall Hai Kya moves beyond suspense and delves into something deeper. Through Bobby and Keshav, Kovelamudi gives an insight into a world that many are unaware of. An unapologetic acceptance of oneself.”
