True Group has been recognized with two prestigious awards at the annual Frost & Sullivan Asia-Pacific Best Practices Awards banquet, held at the Shangri La Hotel, Singapore. Received by Mr. Vichaow Rakphongphairoj, Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee, True Corporation Plc, the two awards comprise the 2019 Asia-Pacific Mobile Data Service Provider of the Year, won by TrueMove H for three consecutive years, and Telecom Service Provider of the Year 2019, won for two years by True Group in a row. The recognition by Frost & Sullivan reflects True’s internationally accredited success in operating its businesses.

The short-listed companies were evaluated on a variety of actual market performance indicators which include revenue growth; market share and growth in market share; leadership in product innovation; marketing strategy and business development strategy.”
Ms. Sofea Zukarnain, Research Associate, Digital Transformation, Frost & Sullivan said that with a growing subscriber base and higher data consumption, True Corp recorded the highest service revenue growth in Thailand in 2018, testament to it consistently managing to deliver on its promise of consolidated networks, products, and services for its customers, which has helped to drive its businesses. The company has also collaborated and partnered with participants within and outside the industry to improve customer experience and remain competitive in a dynamic industry.
“Its continuous efforts in expanding its portfolio and improving customer experience allowed TrueMove H to record positive growth in Asia-Pacific last year for mobile data services. TrueMove H’s comprehensive spectrum portfolio enables the company to provide its subscriber base with superior network quality and coverage. The service provider’s 4G network covers 98% of Thailand’s population, registering a higher coverage compared to competitors and supporting its network reliability. TrueMove H continues to dominate the mobile data industry through a 14% growth in subscribers and a 7.3% increase in non-voice revenue in Asia-Pacific in 2018,” she noted.
